Literacy and Essential Skills practitioners work across Canada in various settings to help Canadians achieve better L/ES results. While more is known about who accesses L/ES programs and what tools are used to increase L/ES skills, recent studies have shown that there is a gap in our knowledge about who works in the L/ES field.
