NSEE has chosen to align the theme of this year’s conference to one of the four essential learning outcomes AAC&U has articulated in its LEAP initiative and 2013 Strategic Plan — personal and social responsibility, which in the language of AAC&U includes the following key learning goals :

  • Intercultural knowledge and competence
  • Ethical reasoning and action
  • Foundations and skills for lifelong learning
