Keynote Presenter: Ovide Mercredi

Ovide Mercredi a UM graduate (LLB/1977) is a lawyer, negotiator, artist, poet author and activist. He was former National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations, Regional Chief of the Assembly of First Nations for Manitoba and most recently has served his community as Chief of the Misipawistik Cree Nation from 2005-2011.

Keynote Presenter: Stephen Murgatroyd

Stephen worked for over thirty years as ad academic and academic administrator, working at the Dean and Vice Presidential level in Universities in the UK, Canada and the UAE. He is a widely published author - over forty books, six hundred academic papers and book chapters and many newspaper and magazine articles. A frequent keynote speaker, Stephen has focused on innovation and change in organizations. He has worked for seventy of the Fortune 500 companies, consulted for colleges and universities worldwide and has  engaged in evaluation studies around the world. He is widely regarded as a leading thinker on the future of education, especially following his two books Rethinking Education and Rethinking Post-Secondary Education (with Janet Tully). He is a Canadian, a psychologist, entrepreneur and an entertaining speaker.
